Service: Review With Health Committee Executives

WOCHAD conducted 6th bi-monthly Ward Level Monitoring and Review Meeting with 3 key Executives of Ward Health Committee namely Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer from each of the 2 focal PHCs in each of the 7 selected LGAs to give update on project implementation, share challenges, lessons learnt and make evidence based decisions. Score Cards on PHC financing indicators generated using PHC Financing Data Generation and capturing Tools were presented during the meetings. This made it easy for the WHC members, various LGAs stakeholders and PHC workers to appreciate progress and gaps on fund releases, utilization and remittance of Income generated Revenue (IGR)...

Action plan to respond to identified gaps were developed and used to advocate for increased support to PHCs. Local resources were also mobilized and used by the WHC to response to PHCs needs. This activities resulted in many success stories such as WHC members building of structures, converts, procurement of seats, painting of facilities etc to increase access to PHC services.
