Baseline Survey

WOCHAD in-order to achieve improved performance evaluation in PHC financing in focal PHCs and LGAs conducted baseline survey to obtain baseline data on PHC financing situations in the 7 focal LGAS for used to evaluate project outcome and results. To this end, the Organization conducted baseline survey on PHC financing in the seven foal LGAs and their PHCs to determine baseline on indicators that will be tracked to monitor whether Project objectives are being achieved. The indicators on which data were collected on were indicators planned to be tracked in the Project. These indicators included: Administration & infrastructure, Facility Support & Funding, Budget provision and releases, IGR, HRH, Availability of Finance Record, Availability of Vaccine, Availability of Essential Medicine and Availability of Essential Equipment...

Stakeholder Advocacy Meeting

Advocacy visit to stakeholders were conducted in the state and focal LGAs to brief the stakeholders on Partnership for Accountability and Improved Primary Health Care Financing Project in Ebonyi State, share project deliverables and stakeholdersroles and responsibilities and present report of baseline survey on PHC financing conducted at Project take off. The advocacy meetings were held between 21st March 5thApril, 2022 for Honourable members and Principal Officers of Ebonyi state House of Assembly(EBSHoA)at conference Hall, Ebonyi state House of Assembly (EBSHoA), for Executive Secretary and Directors of Ebonyi state Primary Health Care Development Agency (EBSPHCDA) at WOCHAD Office and for Honourable Commissioner for Health, Permanent Secretary and Directors of the Ministry at the Office of Honourable Commissioner and Permanent Secretary...

Review With Health Committee Executives

WOCHAD conducted 6th bi-monthly Ward Level Monitoring and Review Meeting with 3 key Executives of Ward Health Committee namely Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer from each of the 2 focal PHCs in each of the 7 selected LGAs to give update on project implementation, share challenges, lessons learnt and make evidence based decisions. Score Cards on PHC financing indicators generated using PHC Financing Data Generation and capturing Tools were presented during the meetings. This made it easy for the WHC members, various LGAs stakeholders and PHC workers to appreciate progress and gaps on fund releases, utilization and remittance of Income generated Revenue (IGR)...
